Guidance on Cooking a Turkey in a Deep Fryer
I wish I had time to talk with you about how you can really cook a turkey in a fryer. This is something that you may not have heard, because it is so popular. With that said more and more people are doing it today. I'm used to my grandmother's turkey that is cooked in the oven and I'm not saying that's bad too. When you actually cook the bird in a fryer is really very good. I was surprised the first time I tried, but I I was delighted. I'll show you how easy it is to cook a bird with a deep fryer.
Basically, you have to make it out. The point here is that you need a large pot with a lot of oil and will stay warm. You do not want that kind of thing in the house. You will need a pot, burner and something to light the burner and a propane tank. You're going to set the pot of oil in the burner and you will leave heat at approximately 325-350 degrees. At this point you are going to put the turkey in the basket and slowly put the oil. Do it slowly, because the oil will bubble and become volatile.
At this point, you just have to wait. It usually takes about three minutes per pound, so you can do the math. At this point, never take your eyes off the pot. We are talking about a lot of oil is very hot and you do not want an accident to happen.

Deep Fried Ice Cream Cookbook
When I first heard about the Fried Ice Cream, I thought I was dreaming and in any case, it looks very attractive. Meanwhile, when I tasted this delicious dessert, I could tell this was going to make it to the top of the list of favorite dessert. Please check out my favorite Deep Fried Ice Cream recipe below:
Ingredients
- 4-5 tablespoons of your favorite Ice Cream. I prefer Vanilla
- 1 / 2 cup of fine crushed cornflakes
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 3 egg whites
For toppings
- Whipped Cream
- Chocolate Sauce
Nuts - almonds or amended nuts
Method
1. Prepare round scoops of vanilla ice cream and place it in the freezer (preferably overnight).
2. Mix corn flakes, cinnamon and sugar together.
3. Roll the ice cream scoops until they are fully covered and freeze at least a couple of hours. If you have more time then you should keep it in your freezer for at least 4 to 6 hours.
4. Meanwhile, beat the egg whites until they are stiff.
5. Roll the ice-cream scoops in the egg mass and the rest of the mixture of cereal and now it's time to refreeze again. After that, the corn flakes mixture should cover the holes much better. The minimum freezing must be at least 2-3 hours in this phase. You can freeze it for more hours, depending on the time you have. The longer you freeze, the better.
6. When you're ready to fry - Heat up enough oil in a wok or Kadhai (not too hot) and fry the ice-cream scoops until they are lightly browned
7. Put it in your dish or dessert your bowl and cover with chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
8. Serve immediately. You can also optionally sprinkle with some almonds amended or cashew nuts.
There are several different versions of making this dessert. Although this version includes cereals and eggs, as an exterior insulation, there are other recipes that use the dough to coat the ice-cream scoops before frying. The key here is the chilling time. The longer you are able to cool the spoons, which will perform better frying time and the mass or coating will not come apart from oil. If you use batter or corn flakes, the end result is so good.

4 Ways to Repair Your Commercial Deep Fryer Quickly and Easily
When your fryer goes down you'll probably want to get it running again quickly. Fortunately, commercial fryers are usually easy to fix, and parts are also quite easy to find. There are four parts fryer that most commonly causes a fryer to fail:
1. Hi-Limit
2. Thermopile
3. Combination gas safety valve
4. Thermostat
BE sure to turn off power and / or gas FIRST!
How to determine the problem:
1. If the pilot light not stay lit, one of three things failed. First, make sure the hi-limit is the one guilty of wire off and connect it with the other wire. Do what you always do and pilot light. If the pilot stays lit, the upper limit is bad and needs replacing.
To replace the hi-limit, you first need to empty the oil tank. This must be done because the bulb of detection for the hi-limit goes into the side of the tank. There is a large nut on the side of the tank and a small nut inside the big nut, drop and pull these out. Now you can remove the limit of high defective. Reverse the procedure to install the hi new term. Always the biggest screw nut on the first tank and then the lower nut. Light the pilot and his unit should be working.
2. If the pilot does not stay lit, then the thermopile is most likely the culprit. One end is attached to the pilot and the other is connected to the gas valve. Remove the thermopile of both places and replace. Light the pilot, and if he stays on you're good to go. Also, remember to connect the wireless hi-limit.
3. If the pilot does not stay lit, then the only thing left is the combination of safety valve of gas. To replace the valve combination, you must have a pair of pipe. This is the most difficult to change, due to limited space. Remember to install the new gas valve in the same direction and replace all the connections.
4. If the pilot is lit, but the pan does not work, the thermostat may be defective. Only three things can happen, so the burner does not light when turned on, although the pilot is lit, the oil will not get hot enough or when the oil reaches the temperature will not shut down. In both cases, the thermostat must be replaced.
If running wild (not off) the oil will overheat causing the hi-limit for the trip out and shut everything out. Redefining the hi-limit and relight the pilot and he stays on, then you know that the thermostat is not good. To replace the thermostat follow the same instructions for replacing the hi-limit.

Deep Fat Fryer Tip 5 Tips For Healthier Fried Foods
Over the years frying has become synonymous with obesity, high cholesterol and diabetes. His bad reputation became one of the forbidden foods for the whole family worried about their health and control your weight.
For many, the obvious solution was to just completely give up deep fried. This, of course, is easier said than done. The craving for things like fried fish and chips is very hard to resist, both for children and adults. But there are things you can do to reduce the most negative aspects of health of frying. It's all a matter of the right tools and a little know how.
The reason why most foods that are fried contain unhealthy levels of fats and cholesterol is due to a combination of baking agents of poor quality, poor temperature control and cooking times inaccurate. If you want to produce the healthiest possible deep fried dishes that you need to securely manage all these three factors.
Here are 5 practical tips to help you achieve this goal:
1. Buy a good Deep Fat Fryer
Safety is of utmost importance in frying. Modern fryers that were designed for domestic use have been subjected to rigorous testing for safety and comes with many safety features built in. If you plan to do any frying at home, this is the best option to maintain an adequate margin of safety. The other main advantage is its ease of use. You can get close to the results of a professional chef without having to attend a cooking school or spend hours cleaning up when you're done.
There are many different models available, including the new mini deep fryers that are well suited for individual portions. (You can find more information and buying tips at the end of this article).
Under no circumstances should you try to use a pot of oil on a plate. It is dangerous and if you are a trained chef who will not produce the desired results.
2. Use an oil with a smoke High Point
Once the food is cooked by immersion in hot oil, used oil will have a major impact on how healthy is the end result. An important feature of all cooking oils is that they break when heated above a certain temperature. This is known as smoke point.
Since most frying occurs at temperatures between 175C and 190C want an oil that has a smoke point over 200 ? C. Some good choices are maize (232 ? C), sunflower (232 ? C), safflower (266 ? C) and rape (240 ? C).
3. Use oils that are high in polyunsaturated fat or monounsaturated fats
Unsaturated fats have been shown to reduce levels of LDL cholesterol (the "bad" cholesterol) and at the same time increasing levels of HDL ( "good" cholesterol). Fats corn, sunflower and safflower oil are all rich in polyunsaturated seed is rich in mono-unsaturated.
4. Maintain a Consistent cooking temperature
Keeping the oil temperature consistent throughout the frying process is probably the most important factor in producing the result as healthy as possible. Set and maintain the oil at the correct temperature to form a crust that prevents too much oil to be absorbed by food. The end result is crispy outside and moist inside.
Unfortunately, many consumers fryers with thermostats are inaccurate. If calibrated too low, the oil does not reach the temperature specified and you end up with greasy, soggy chips. A simple solution is to use a cheap deep frying thermometer that attaches to the side of your pan. Oil temperature consistent throughout to maintain levels of oil absorption to a minimum and produce healthier.
5. Timing - do not overcook or cook Under
Cooking times are the best mastered with a little practice. Use the times listed on the recipe as a starting point, but remember that they can vary considerably depending on the frying pan, oil temperature and the food being cooked. Foods at room temperature that will cook faster, so a similar item that is frozen.
As a general rule, you want a uniform golden brown color. As soon as this seems to remove the food from the pan and drain on paper towel. If you need to cook several batches to keep the finished items on a hot $ 95 degrees; oven C.
Fried fish and chips will never be as healthy as a salad or piece of fruit, but there are things you can do to reduce the negative health aspects of frying. As with many other things in life, moderation is the key. Keep a varied diet, with plenty of exercise and you can still enjoy the occasional treat deep fried ..

Deep Fryer - Deep Fat Fryers Mars Bars?
Deep fat fryers do exactly what its name suggests, anything you put in them will be fried in fat that you add (usually vegetable or sunflower oil). Most people who have deep use them to make the chips cut strips of potato, but you can really deep fry just about anything: fish, chicken, sausage, parsnips and carrots are all the interesting things to try. Meat with skin generally forms a crispy when fried, while the thin -cut vegetables tend to turn into crisps or chips.
The fryer is the key instrument for fast food a lot, especially British fish and chip shops, where fish, chips and almost everything else was selling fried - not exactly healthy, but very tasty. In Scotland, a fish and chip shop entrepreneur even started frying Mars chocolate bars as a special promotion, the practice spread rapidly. The deep-fried Mars bar is considered by many to be the healthiest food in the world, bar none, but America came in second place with its deep fried Twinkie.
However, contrary to popular belief, there is nothing inherently unhealthy about deep fried, if they are adequately prepared. The problem with used frying in fast food is that the oil is typically not changed frequently enough, which means that all nutrients were removed and harmful chemicals had time to form. If the oil in a frying pan is completely changed frequently, there is no reason for frying to be less healthy than any other type of cuisine.
As well as the deep damage can make your diet if you're not careful, home deep fryers are also known to be a significant fire risk - are a major cause of home fires in many places. This is because the hot oil in them can catch the light and act as fuel for a fire, and pour water on it does nothing to extinguish the fire, rather than causing an explosion. For this reason, you should make sure to never leave the room when the fryer is turned on, and if the worst happens, remember not to use salt water to put out any fire it causes.

Let's face it once November comes too late to submit his family to Turkey a test run when they're going to have it again in a few weeks at Thanksgiving. That's a lot of turkey. And dinner, Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful, not a time to try new recipes. And if the bird has a horrible taste? You do not want your family to remember this year as a father who ruined Thanksgiving.
Frying a turkey place a month earlier will increase your comfort level on Thanksgiving. Let's face it when you're working with five gallons of boiling oil you can use all the comfort you can get. And you also get to enjoy a wonderful deep fried turkey without all the stress and difficulties that the holidays bring.
Your preparatory work should include making sure your propane tank is full and check to see if the fire extinguisher is charged and ready for action. Make sure to find your gloves and goggles and collect all the necessary equipment you need for the big day. Put it somewhere in the hand as the garage. Thus, when Thanksgiving comes you will have one less thing to worry about.
And remember when you deep fry a turkey will not have turkey drippings to make gravy. October is the perfect time to plan their choice of sauce. You can fry up the kids and neck in a saucepan and use those drippings to make gravy. Or you can buy your sauce at the store. The fried turkey will be moist enough that the sauce will be more important to the mashed potatoes, but it is still a good idea to plan ahead.
Here is an excellent sauce recipe push to try:
Buttery Injector Sauce
1 / 2 cup chicken broth
4 tablespoons butter
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 / 2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 / 2 teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste
Melt the butter in a pan or microwave
Mix the butter in a bowl with the remaining ingredients, except salt
Add salt gradually and taste. The sauce should only slightly salty flavor
Hit or use an electric mixer until blended and ready to be injected
Inject the mixture into the turkey
Place turkey in oven bag or in a large bowl with lid
Refrigerate overnight
If this is your first deep fried turkey or you're an old pro, try to practice in October. It will make Thanksgiving a little more relaxed and enjoyable. The more prepared you are, the smoother your day is going and that's something to be thankful.
